Renegade HELl YEAH!!!

I got 30,000 reasons but a boltgun ain't one.

Update on the forces. Managed to grab 6 devastator centurions off of eBay. Done 3 grav amp and 3 las cannons. Just on with painting them now. Also got another Thunderfire cannon. 

I managed to grab a 30th anniversary imperial space marine from my FLGS and the index astartes apocrypha. Really happy with both. As I was a bit of a late comer to Warhammer I really enjoy looking and reading about where and how the space marines began. 

And I am thinking about starting up a 30k army. Now it really would make most sense for me to do an Imperial fists army buuuut I would like to do a different army. Now I first thought I would go with The Thousand Sons. I loved the Horus heresy book and took a shine to them but their rules aren't out yet and after painting a test marine I wasn't too happy with how it came out. Didn't look too good. Then thought I would have a crack at salamanders no particular reason other than liking their attitude and some of their armour looks awesome. Painted a guy up and just got the base colours down then decided against it. The latest attempt was of the world eaters. Needs a little work but so far I think this may be who I end up with. Love the colour scheme. 

Wych way to go?

Small update, painted my first wych the other night. Went for standard colours and was pretty happy with the result. There are a few things I will tweak like the skin and couple of other bits but didn't take too long to paint.

More Troops needed!

Don't have a specific unit or model I need to get painted so I decided to finish off my tactical squad and devistator squad from Christmas. Got them prepped for another spray of two more shade of yellow. 

Also started making a few of my Skaven Pestilens well 10 to be exact. The models are really nice I'm pretty impressed and will get a few pictures up at some point.

Pretty happy with it's turn out, first time I have painted any type of fortifications before.

On a side note I have wondered for a while why the photos were of such poor quality on my blog and I have put it down to because they were taken on my phone but it actually seems to be the blogger app that is uploading at a poor resolution. So in the future I shall not be using the blogger app as it is pretty poor.

Force so far

I'm pretty happy with it and how it's progressing.

Drop pod is not done, think I'm going to attempt to spray a varnish over the pig,net but other than that it's good to go
