And so it began...

It was after my Imperial Knights that I decided make a start on my World Eaters.

Now as mentioned previously the photos taken were not as frequent as when a made and painted my fists. So in a massive post about the size of the Eiffel Tower here are my World Eaters up to date. Almost....

The back packs and shoulder pads were all primed and painted separately to the main bodies. First in black then the blue layers. The was pretty fiddly and a pain in the butt when there was over 40 sets to do.

My Red Butchers.

The army started to grow.

Legion Sicaran Battle Tank

The start of Khârn.

Couple of dead guys from Angron's Base which I shamefully have not painted up fully yet.
Also a Dreadclaw drop pod in the back ground, this was a real pain to build and paint. Had problems with it fitting together well and gaps. Painting was a chore, I put it down to doing the same paint scheme on 5 sides. Game wise though the Dreadclaw is awesome!

I painted each shoulder pad set to fit each individual marines. This was a major task and I think I was off my head a little to do this for 40+ marines!

The internals of the Spartan. Unlike previously with my Fists Land Raider I just painted this interior pretty basic as there really is no point going to town on it when it will not be seen even though I left the front door so it can be opened.

A couple of Space Marines my daughters painted. The one on the left was done by my 8 year old(at the time)  and the blue by my 4 year old. Me: "You WILL LIKE WARHAMMER!"

Clamping up the Spartan, these saved a ton of effort and pain.

Mars pattern Rhino. I really do prefer the Demios pattern Rhino but this one is cheaper and wanted it for the start of a campaign that was run towards the back end of last year.

Angron almost complete.

The Storm Eagle. What a pain in the backside this was to build. The main panels were pretty badly warped, nasty mold slip at the back and the surfaces for fixing the main body together are way too small which makes it a nightmare to get together. So far this has been the worst model to build up didn't really enjoy it.

My poor attempt at rectifying bad mold slip and uneven surfaces.

Angron complete minus his display base.

My Rampager squad. These guys look great but game wise are naff. Overpriced and never seem to pack a punch. I stuck jump packs on them before playing them as thought this may help them but naaa not really. Shame becasue i love how the look.

This guy is my Consul Champion. He came about after i got a massive whooping from the Ulramarines during a campaign game (who'd of thought!) basically the Storm Eagle containing Angron and his Red Butchers was shot down and crashed and burned with receiving S10 AP2 hits it was upsetting to say the least. I still have nightmares!

Poor photo of him complete.

My wonky turreted Sicaran Battle Tank. I dropped the turret and fell in pieces then I glued it back together not obviously not paying much attention and stuck them on wonky :(.

A few battery tealight candle smoke markers I made, cheap and cheerful!

My Cataphractii Terminator squad. These guys are my anti armour and mince through any tank with the chainfists!

Aaaaand here is my Storm Eagle. Pretty happy with the end result even if it doesnt last long in games. I magnatised the lascannons/missiles on the front and equipped a Heavy Bolter on the front.

Marines prior to bloodying and dirtying up!

This photo brings me almost up to date. 40 marines awaiting their final purity seal. At this time my original army is complete :O

I will at some point get around to taking a few better photos of my World Eaters army.
